.) Nucleolus - Site of production of ribosomal RNA.
.) Nucleus -Control center, or 'brain', of the cell. Directs all of the cells activity.
.) Rough ER - Makes proteins.
.) Vesicle - Transports materials in and around the cell.
.) Ribosomes - Function as factories to produce proteins.
.) Golgi Body - Packages proteins for export from the cell. Forms secretory vesicles.
.) Cytoskeleton - Strengthens cell and maintains the shape. Moves organelles within cell.
.) Smooth ER - packages proteins. Synthesis of membrane phospholids. Detoxify drugs in liver cells.
.) Mitochondria - Breaks down sugar (glucose) molecules to release energy. Site or aerobic cellular respiration.
.) Vacuole - Stores food, water, metabolic & toxic wastes
.) Cytoplasm - Supports and protects cell organelles
.) Lysosomes - Package digestive enzymes
.) Centrioles - Helps chromosomes separate during cell division.
